Donald Deskey lamp

Possibly the most famous Donald Deskey piece, this zig-zag light was designed in 1927 and is as near to perfection of design merged with functionality as has ever been seen. Despite its age, it has a very contemporary look and feel about it.

This handmade light has been produced from 100% solid brass and nickel-plated (like the original). Only the best materials have been used in the production of this lamp. The craftsmanship and skill required to make this lamp are extremely high. Like the others in this lighting collection, this lamp is of museum quality – so much so that these lamps are being seen as heirlooms for future generations and collectors’ items.

The lamps in this collection have been made entirely by hand, using traditional techniques that are now dying out. The sheer level of skill and precision required to make just one part takes years to perfect.

This light comes in a nickel, chrome or silver-plated finish, according to the customer’s wishes.

Matching wall, ceiling and floor lights for the home or for bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants, boardrooms and superyachts can also be made. These modern designs can be customized.
